Focus FAQs
What will Focus Equine do for my horse?
FOCUS EQUINE does not sedate. It makes horses simply FOCUS. Helps a nervous hot horse to calm down. It gives a horse a sense of safety and well-being. In the absence of anxiety, a horse begins to learn coping skills, stays out of trouble, gets rewarded, and accepts training better.
How often do you need to feed it?
The initial loading dose is between 4-7 days depending on the size and anxiety level of the horse. It can also be used for competition events only. We start feeding Focus Equine to the horse 4-7 days out from the show and every day at the show. We can help you dial your horse in for the best results during competition. If your horse needs help on a daily basis (at home), after the initial loading dose, it can be fed every other day or every third day. Smaller horses have been maintained on 1/2 oz every third day. One 30 serving bag can last up to 2 months. You do not need to feed this product every day. The longer your horse is on Focus Equine, the less product is needed usually. Horses begin to re-habituate to their own new and positive behavior. Some green horses benefit from using Focus Equine for their first show season to develop good mental habits away from home.

How often do I need to give my horse Focus Equine?
The initial loading dose is between 4-7 days depending on the size and anxiety level of the horse. It can also be used for competition events only. How does it work?
We don’t know why some horses are more sensitive to stress and training but we do know that we can help them. The blend of amino acids and methyl donors in FOCUS EQUINE® serve to provide proper nutrition for more efficient brain function. Imbalances in one or more areas of brain neuro-chemistry can result in adverse behavior. Anxiety, spookiness, fear, distractability, and nervousness are a few signs that there may be an imbalance or shortfall. Sensitive horses may also require magnesium supplementation and excessive anxiety may indicate a magnesium deficiency.
